Fiona and Stella finding a rack of clothes at their level while we were at Target trying to escape the infestation taking over our house. They were entertained for over 10 minutes...definitely future shoppers.
This weekend marks the end to our very lucky run at non-puking sick children. Once we got past the spit-up stage (~6mo), we have taken for granted the lack of puke from our children. Well that all changed this weekend. Daphne got sick and was getting sick every 15 minutes for most of Friday. I learned that she particularly loves to cuddle before she gets sick, but only after my fourth outfit change (and second shower) of the day. After a doctor visit, we were thankful the problem was just a virus, but warned that it would surely hit our other children as well - thus is life with triplets.
What we weren't prepared for was Brant and I getting sick. Saturday night WE spent the whole night getting sick and were in some seriously rough shape on Sunday. We took hour shifts with the girls while the other slept, attempting to recover from the virus. We were most worried about Fiona and Stella getting sick too - three kids (+ 2 parents) puking at the same time is just too much. Oddly, they never got sick. I don't know how they avoided it yet Brant and I were hit, but we were SO lucky.
Today I am happy to report that everyone seems to be doing much better. It wasn't the best memorial day weekend we've ever had, but it sure could have been much worse.
How did we talk so long and you forgot to mention that you guys were all puking!?! Guess it's best to forget about it :)
