8.22.10: WALKING to the park

Today the girls WALKED to the park. That's right, they walked all the way to the park. Okay, in all fairness Daphne held Brant's hand while Fiona held mine (Stella was in a carrier). The handholding was mainly for safety since there are a fair amount of cars on our street. The girls made it all the way to the park, just over .10 miles! Then on the way home, Stella walked holding my hand while Daphne and Fiona were carried. All that walking must have worn them out, they napped very well in the afternoon.

This weekend we also upgraded our stroller to the new 'bike seats' instead of the infant carriers that they had seriously outgrown. Stella who rides in front was totally digging 'driving' the stroller. Brant was very creative fitting the sunshades to the new stroller seats using a rolled up magazine. You would never know about our ghetto headrest fix unless I told you.
