Debbie and her family (Andy, Joey, and Sammy) arrived late last week. Somehow, even though they are in town to see many people during their vacation, I have seen Debbie almost everyday. It has been wonderful. It feels like she lives just down the street. The girls instantly warmed up to her. Even after this picture was taken, the girls just sat on her lap for a while. We had so much fun during her multiple visits that we kept forgetting to take pictures.

Her kids are adorable (as expected) and Sammy (who is six weeks younger than the girls) weighs a good 9lbs more than Daphne giving him the most ridiculous dimples ever. Joey is almost 5 and super smart. He is so helpful and very inquisitive. Andy (+boys) spent some time at the pool while Brant (+girls) spent some time at home so that Debbie and I could go away for some girlie time kid-free. Of course, we ended up talking about the kids. After a short week, they left for San Diego to continue their family vacation at a music festival. It was hard to see them leave, but wonderful to have had them here for so long.
