Today was our sixth annual family day, the day everyone was finally home from the hospital back in 2009. This is a very important day for us as it always brings back memories of those tough weeks while the girls were in the NICU. This day always reminds us how lucky we are to have a happy and healthy family - none of which we take for granted. We celebrated by spending the day together and, as is our tradition, getting pictures taken (left to right: Daphne, Stella, Fiona). We love you girls!
Two of our beloved American icons are brought to life in Santa Barbara to teach kids about conservation and taking care of our environment.
Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl are part of the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History's Home Sweet Home exhibit.
Children are transported into urban, woodland and stream settings.
Each area features a variety of educational activities including props, costumes and puppets that underscore the importance of protecting ecosystems, as well as highlighting ways to reduce, reuse and recycle resources.
The exhibit runs now through September 21st.
