5.10.14: Relaxing

Sometimes when Brant is out of town, we do crazy things - just because there is no adult around to suggest otherwise.  Today we began our day in pajamas outside playing in the front yard.  We colored, we made some rock piles and we even sanded the front door.  Just as I was cleaning up to go back inside Daphne, Stella and Fiona all decided they needed to 'relax' outside because the weather was so nice. Why, of course, the middle of the driveway squished together IS the best place to relax  :)  We ended our evening eating dinner in the backyard on the ground - happy as can be enjoying the sunset.  I love these moments.

5.4.14: Meeting Daniel

Daniel came to visit!!!  While we have skyped with him a few times, the girls have never met him in person...until now.  He fit right in and was even a good sport about the very early wake up times.  Fiona, Stella and Daphne made sure to put him to work reading (as we do with all visitors).

4.27.14: Where the girls?

I don't know where the girls are, do you?  When I came out of the bathroom, the girls were giggling nonstop upon finding this amazing hiding place.

4.20.14: Easter

That darn Easter Bunny left eggs all over the house.  It took the girls a while to find them all. While breakfast was being made, we worked on a craft project Auntie Kelly sent home with me - gluing marshmellows into the shape of a bunny - so simple and so entertaining.

 Daphne with her finished bunny.

Daddy and the girls dying Easter eggs.  They even brought the hard boiled eggs to school the next day for lunch.

4.19.14: Graduating Goldfish

Stella, Daphne and Fiona graduated from the Goldfish class in swimming today.  Next up, propulsion as a Jellyfish.

4.12.14: Meeting Nicholas

Mama took a solo road trip up to Seattle to finally meet my newest nephew Nicholas @ 6 weeks old.  He is adorable as expected and loves to be cuddled.  It is tough work being an auntie to these amazing two boys.
It was fantastic spending time with Cooper (22 months) who loves to play 'hide in a box' and 'bring random things to you'.  Those were two of my favorite games with the girls. Ahhh, memories.
I was also able to spend time watching my sister absolutely rock multi-tasking two children and keeping a smile on her face the whole time.  Those Kochmans are an amazing crew.  I am one lucky auntie!

4.6.14: Playdate with the Brosts

We had so much fun today having a playdate with Kim, Alyssa, Zachary and Joyce.  We even had yummy picnic.  Upon arrival we had to listen to the Let it Go song with Alyssa and then we were off to the park.  The entire drive down and back we spent coloring - lots of great artwork.

4.5.14: Marble run

The biggest marble run ever - using all the pieces.  A huge accomplishment.

3.29.14: Daphne backfloats

Today Daphne got her back float ribbon!
Since we agreed to wait until everyone successfully completed their backfloat to celebrate, we were officially ready to have some cookes (Stella, Daphne, Fiona).  I love it when we cheer each other on and celebrate as a team.

3.25.14: Daphne - Six year molars

Not to be outdone by her sisters losing teeth, today I discovered that Daphne is getting in her top two six-year-old molars.  She was more than excited.
